Overview:As part of our commitment to putting customer needs at the heart of what we do, our Partnership team are based across seven UK regions and have direct responsibility for managing the relationship with our member institutions, Colleges and Schools. The feedback collected through the Regional Partnership Manager plays a key role in helping UCAS understand the needs of our stakeholders. You will gain a clear understanding of the strategic direction of the institutions within your region in order to inform the decisions that UCAS make.
You will make our members aware of the many benefits we offer, enabling them to make the most of their membership, and spot opportunities for improving our offering or growing revenue opportunities.
You will be a strategically aware, commercially astute and customer centred individual. You will be an excellent communicator who is able to build strong and meaningful relationships and takes responsibility for ensuring we provide our stakeholders with an exemplary level of support and service.
Role responsibilities:
- Manage the relationships with HEIs, private institutions, colleges and schools ensuring one senior point of contact and a means of escalation for any incoming strategic queries or issues.
- Strengthen and develop critical relationships with a range of decision-makers and help broaden UCAS' strategic direction, brand image, membership and product and services.
- Work strategically with partners to understand their priorities and needs, and to gain early insight into potential policy changes.
- Facilitate regular regional events aimed at bringing together HEIs, colleges and schools.
- Develop partnership plans as necessary that includes objectives and a business strategy and plan to achieve those objectives.
- Gather feedback and comment on UCAS products and services that will be reported back to the Partnership Management Coordinator.
- To actively generate meaningful leads for colleagues within UCAS media against revenue targets.
- To promote membership of UCAS and conduct visits to prospective new members to deliver against annual new member targets.
Minimum criteria:
- Significant knowledge and experience of the UK education sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of the interrelationship between higher, further and secondary education to allow strategic opportunities to be maximised for UCAS, our partners and the applicants.
- Ability to work in self-directed way and update key stakeholders (both internally and externally) of progress, issues and next steps.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate professionally, persuasively and confidently over the phone, email and face-to-face presentations.
- Graduate calibre or equivalent.
