The Transparency International Secretariat in Berlin is seeking a highly motivated professional for the position of
Group Executive Officer, Corporate Services
Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 90 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
Background information
The Corporate Services (COS) Group enhances the organisational and financial infrastructure and processes (including Planning, Finance, HR, Office Management) that enables strategic alignment and organisational effectiveness both in the Secretariat in Berlin and in their support of the dispersed network of National Chapters.
Main function: The Group Executive Officer ensures the effective coordination and communication of work within and between the Groups, supports the development of relevant processes and procedures by liaising with other Groups and units within TI-S. S/he is responsible for the coordination and implementation of effective work processes. The Group Executive Officer also assists the COS Group Director in the day-to day running of the COS Group.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and facilitate effective internal coordination and communication flows between groups, departments and units across TI-S by optimising team work, operating procedures, work processes and management systems.
• Organise and facilitate weekly team meetings, Group meetings and retreats, ensuring follow-up and progress on key issues for the Group.
• Support the Group Director in monitoring key budgets across departments.
• Liaise with other Group Executive Officers and departments as necessary to facilitate effective portfolio coordination, cross-Group communication, knowledge sharing, as well as contributing to the identification of key training needs.
• Provide overall day-to-day work support to the Group Director.
• Organise and coordinate training activities for assigned staff and manage the Group training budget as appropriate.
• Coordinate the implementation of assigned internal Project(s).
Knowledge, experience and skills:
• University degree or professional qualification in social science, administration, economics, management, or another relevant field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with an International NGO or International Organisation, or Multinational Organisation working on organisational improvement, internal communication, staff relations, public relations, human resources, executive support, business administration or another relevant field.
• Very strong organisational skills
• Financial and budget management skills an advantage
• Awareness of governance and anti-corruption fields an advantage
• Experience in working across cultures
• Fluency in English (written, spoken), additional languages an advantage
