POSITION/SCOPE WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION • This position reports directly and functionally to the Senior Coordinator of Health Programs. • This position does not have any management or supervisory responsibilities.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Health and Nutrition Coordinator will provide technical support and administrative backstopping to Food for the Hungry’s maternal and child health, nutrition and HIV/AIDS interventions that are under programs managed by the food security unit (Title II, ICB, OFDA, PRM, etc.) and health unit and will coordinate extensively with the Global Services Staff, Regional Leadership and Country Office staff. The Health and Nutrition Coordinator will also provide support in the development of new proposals and monitoring of current proposals as need in the areas of health and HIV/AIDS.
