Client Technical Architect - Power Cloud IBM - Shenzhen


Cloud Client Technical Architect is expected to gain IBM share and helps accumulate client satisfaction in the competitive accounts, drive IBM STG and allied BU revenue in key & future growing areas with Power/Cloud Consulting approach, STG value solution and best practice on IBM Power/Cloud solutions/services, and create the innovative reusable assets for STG technical community.

Responsibility:
• Lead Cloud Infrastructure Consulting Workshops
• Manage client relationship with key accounts top management team
• Identify, analyze and prioritize clients’ business and technical issues, help ISU/STG sales team identify and qualify IBM Power/Cloud related opportunities
• Supervise the quality of Power/Cloud project deliverables and monitor the project risks
• Conduct benchmarking studies and identify industry best practices
• Support Power System business growth from technical side
• Team with sales to show IBM’s advantage and value on Unix server to customer
• Design Power System based IT infrastructure solution and present to customer
• Lead Power/Cloud proposal development and promotion of target clients
• Contribute to the thought leadership and strategic direction on the firm’s Power/Cloud references and replicable assets with STG value solutions, and IBM best practice
• Network with IBM service team to maximize the value created for client engagements

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum of 2+ years consulting experience in Power/Cloud projects, or equivalent 3+ years of IT planning & management experience in large industrial companies
• 3 – 5 years experience in developing technical solutions for IT infrastructure projects, especially for the experience on Server, SAN and Unix OS, familiar with HA, Virtualization & Cloud, BC/DR Solutions
• Hands-on skill and experience on Unix system and storage is a plus
• IT Experiences within two to three industries like Banking, Telecom, Government, Ind/Distribution , GB or Pubic are preferred
• Rich client-facing experience and skills, demonstrated experience/skills on requirements definition, client proposal creation, client/executive presentations, design, implementation
• Good understand of IT hot trends like virtualization & cloud solution, IT service automation
• Acquired sales techniques for competitive business
• Bachelor degree or above
• English: Fluent
• Chinese: Fluent
