The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

The 30 hectares of species-rich hay meadow at Meadow Farm, near Bicester is part of the Trust’s Upper River Ray Living Landscape area. The Trust has recently been awarded a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to develop a larger bid for the Farm within the Living Landscape project area.

The Meadow Farm Project Development Officer will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of that bid by undertaking feasibility studies, community consultation and obtaining quotes for identified works. This will involve working with the Meadow Farm Development Manager and other Trust staff such as the fund-raising team based in Oxford.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills and have a sound understanding of nature conservation and people engagement principles.

Contract: 6 months fixed term/ Part-time (4 days per week)
