Role
Working within a small team, you will provide support to the Contracts Executives ensuring the necessary permission and rights are acquired for locations that programme makers want to use. You will draw up simple contracts with the location owners where appropriate, and assist with more complex agreements. In addition you will share some of the administrative tasks performed by the Team Assistant, and help out in the department as necessary.
Requirements
An experienced communicator with some business or legal background, excellent interpersonal skills, it’s essential you will have the ability to remain calm, organised and focussed under pressure and have a keen eye for detail. With strong administrative and IT skills, you will have experience of using databases and IT systems as well as experience of handling sensitive information discreetly. It’s important you can work within a team, are self motivated, and, as this is a busy role with conflicting priorities, you are resilient and flexible in your approach to work. In addition you will need an informed interest in the Arts and Media, and it would be great if you have an awareness of policy issues governing the use of locations and knowledge of production methods and procedures.
