Primary Objectives:
This position provides support to the Latin America Headquarters Finance area by coordinating key activities, consolidating information from the business units and organizing our financial systems. The ideal individual for this position should be extremely organized, process oriented, possess good quantitative skills and be systems “savvy”. The position is primarily process driven but will support key projects in the region.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Track all FP&A deliverables in the region and interface with corporate and business unit FP&A leads; organize and manage LatAm FP&A calendar
- Consolidate and prepare key daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and presentations
- Operate and maintain hierarchies in our corporate financial systems (Cognos, SAP, BEx, SAS FM) and serve as liaison with corporate groups to coordinate changes and modifications
- Assist in preparation of ad-hoc financial analyses, reports and presentations
- Assist with coordination and implementation of the annual plan process and interim forecasts on an as needed basis
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree (required) in business or a quantitative field
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish, Portuguese highly desirable
- 1 - 2 years of demonstrated experience in managing deliverables and quantitative analysis. Systems management experience is also very desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- Highly detail oriented with excellent analytical, quantitative and modeling skills.
- Comfortable in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures.
- Ability to build strong trusted working relationships with internal and external business customers and executive level management; influencing without authority.
- Proven ability to relate to all levels of management.
