Job Summary
Cardno Geotech Solutions is a 25 person geotechnical engineering, environmental and construction materials testing firm based in Beresfield, Newcastle. Geotech Solutions has been in operation since 2007 and services the Newcastle, Hunter Valley, and Central Coast regions of New South Wales.
Due to continued growth Cardno is currently seeking an Engineering Geologist to join our Cardno Geotech Solutions Business Unit based in Newcastle. This position offers the suitable candidate the opportunity to join a team of renowned professionals and Geotechnicians who have an exceptional reputation within the NSW and Hunter Regions. This integral role will provide support to the team in conducting site/felid investigations, geological assessments and client management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that company and client deadlines, commitments and expectations are managed appropriately in the given time frame and budget
- Conduct investigations, analysis, reporting, and design.
- Assist, lead and advise team members to collaboratively be involved in the design process
Other Requirements
- Exposure to working within a multidisciplinary consulting environment
- Ability to conduct geotechnical investigations and prepare detailed reports
- Demonstrated technical and leadership skills
- Client liaison and relationship management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability in analytical and problem solving skills in order to continue the delivery of high standard projects within our team
- Willingness to be flexible and undertake a range of roles and duties
