Job Summary
Cardno Roadtest provide a range of first-class services in construction materials testing, residential structural and geotechnical engineering through our permanent offices in Central Queensland and our project labs Queensland wide and beyond.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lab Manager/Senior Technician to join the team in our Construction Materials Laboratory located in Whitsunday, Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide management, leadership and support to all staff in the Lab
- Undertake field and laboratory testing
- Maintain and further develop client relationships
- Maintain QA systems and procedures
- Strive to meet high Quality Service and Productivity requirements
Other Requirements
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Qualifications in Construction Material Testing should include Certificate IV or higher in relevant field and able to show a depth of knowledge expected of a approved NATA Signatory
- Drivers licence
- 3-5 years’ experience.
- Client liaison and relationship skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and resilient with sound business judgment
- Willingness to be flexible and undertake a range of roles and duties
