GLOBAL INVESTMENT BANK IN SHANGHAI, CHINA
This Global Investment Bank is famous for their technology setup in China where they have established their Global Development Center in Shanghai, China. They also are known for their Global technical competency where the Shanghai team is included in the Global architecture teams.
Due to the move to Big Data, there have been multiple job openings related to distributed data system development. This particular job was created because a strategic move to both improve the Big Data capability of the Shanghai team as well as new Global projects that have been assigned to Shanghai.
You will need you 4-8 years experience in hands-on Core Java development experience on highly distributed systems on a UNIX or Linux platform as the cornerstone of this job.Due to the complexity of the existing framework, you will fully utilize your brilliant problem solving abilities whilst your Big Data technology (Hadoop, Lucene, Pig, Hive, Hbase) will contribute to the strength of the Shanghai team. Also due to the complexity, there will be a need for functional languages (Scala, Haskel, F#, Erlang). This experience will be a big plus.
