Deloitte Consultings dynamic Federal Practice based in Washington D.C. and the surrounding Metropolitan area has opportunities for you to become part of their high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients in financial management, business process improvement, strategy and operations, information systems development, package implementation, enterprise transformation, business process and applications outsourcing, and a full range of human capital advisory services.
We are currently searching for Senior Consultants with business process improvement / re-engineering experience to join our Federal Strategy & Operations/Service Operations practice.

The position requires a strong Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) background, with good process mapping skills. The positions all require working as part of a team who, bring CPI, Strategy, and Metrics together, to assist the client to realign its Logistic organization and processes, at the operational to strategic level.The positions all require direct client interaction. Although some travel may be required, it would be limited to around 20% of the time.
Process
o Defining existing processes and documenting standard operating procedures including scope, controls, and stakeholders.
o Producing process maps
o Using Lean Management and Six Sigma skills
o Applying decision-making processes and conflict-resolution
Performance
o Defining process and operational control points
o Defining performance measures, data collection, reporting, analysis, and presentations
o Using Balanced Business Scorecard
Deloitte Consulting LLP Deloitte Consulting LLP Bachelors degree in business or related field
Must be able to obtain and maintain required federal government security clearance
4+ years consulting experience
4+ years experience conducting business process improvement / business process re-engineering efforts
4+ years experience years experience supporting working group / meeting facilitation and interface with client Senior leadership to develop process improvement deployment strategies
Experience utilizing and applying Lean / six sigma methodologies
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher
Position-specific Desired Skills:
Advanced degree (MBA or MPA) OR 8 years of related experience preferred
4-7+ years Big 4 consulting experience preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Experience in USAF and/or Supply Chain
