Do you want to work for a growing, youthful and passionate organisation committed to campaigning on human rights, world poverty and the environment? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team to campaign on the issue of Corporate Power.
People & Planet is committed to empowering students to campaign against the structural causes of global poverty and environmental destruction. In 2009 our student network voted to campaign on the effects of corporate power, specifically on workers rights and trade injustice. This role coordinates the largest student activist network in the country to run campaigns within this theme. The current campaign is called Buy Right, and aims at defending human rights in the global supply chains of companies, particularly those supplying the higher education sector, and particularly in the garments industry.

The role includes managing an intern to deliver campaign outputs. Currently the role also co-manages People & Planet’s communications output, but this element is subject to an ongoing review of the management team’s structure.
