Intel's Cloud Service Platform (CSP) team in SSG is looking for highly talented QA leader who want to play a role in the product validation of the Connect Service, part of the Cloud Service Platform. Intel cloud service platform provides a new set of cloud APIs that provide an enhanced set of app development capabilities and features for Ultrabooks and other devices like Identity, Location, Context, Connection.
Being the Software QA leader role for Intel’s Cloud Service Platform, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Participating in all phases of software/service validation cycle, owning the product validation from end to end.
- Leading a sub-team of junior QA engineers or contingent workers on the overall test schedule and test management, mentoring team member on the test design and implementation, tracking the software validation progress and reporting.
- Responsible for technical research and/or investigation of various software test tools, automation framework and others leading to definition and delivery of test automation. Lead designing & developing of automated software test suites for the cloud service platform.
Working with Engineering team to drive high quality and set high execution standards.
Desired Skills & Experience
You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of six years of industry experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with at least five years of industry experience in software engineering and/or validation (for example, software test planning, test case development and others).
Additional qualifications include:
- Hands-on Proficiency in one of the following languages: C++, C#, JavaScript, HTML5
- Industry experience on software automation processes and/or test methodology using QTP, JMeter, LoadRunner, SoapUI, etc.
- Proven track record of solving complex technical problems while balancing schedule constraints, Significant experience leading the software validation team within global organization.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Chinese.
The following qualifications would be added advantages:
- Prior experience in testing of Enterprise SOA solution, RESTful Service, Performance bottleneck analysis.
- Knowledge or experience in WCF development, MySQL usage, Amazon Web Services and Infrastructures.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-Geo team setting
