Requirements:
The potential project is for PTS to provide highly experienced professional SME's as ISSOW (isolations Safe Systems of Work) Trainers to BP in Tanguu, Indonesia working with the Safety & Operations Risk (S&OR) Group to assist them in developing a complete training environment which is different and better than existing. The scope of the work is as follows:
1. Update standards for ISSOW, Process safety, Work Planning, work Packs and updating training materials to suit
2. Front-line training and competency based assessment of candidates in the workplace
3. Develop a world class training environment
4. Instil good safe operating discipline into individuals
5. Convert current standards and training programs practical to theory ratio into 80% practical 20% theory
Staff Criteria:
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma level qualification from a recognised institute in HSE, Mechanical, Electrical technical subject with +15 years relevant hands-on industrial work experience in LNG / Oil & Gas operating sites
- Deep knowledge and experience of H&S standards and operating disciplines
- Highly experienced in ISSOW elements: Permit To Work, Isolation, Confined Space Entry
- Significant front line training and competency assessment work experience in HSE, Mechanical, Electrical coaching
- Self motivated to work with coaches to develop, refine and deliver training with passion.
- Prior exposure to BP S&OR would be an advantage
- Fully Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Physically fit, Dedicated, confident, able to multi-task, independent, creative
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and coaching skills
Desirable:
- A recognised Certificate in Teaching / Training and Assessment
- Recognised competency assessment Certification by an international Awarding Body
