Major international Property Developer
Working on large scale mixed use, high rise residential and hospitality developments
Based in Dubai
Our client is a major international property developer with an excellent reputation throughout the Middle East. Due to continued expansion within the Region, a requirement has arisen for a Design Manager from an architecture background to join its team based in Dubai.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on large scale mixed use developments and high rise towers – residential and hospitality and will be responsible for managing external consultants as well as in-house professionals.
At present, our client is experiencing exciting times and huge growth – our client currently has a growing portfolio of projects in the Middle East and internationally and is diversifying the business to ensure continued future success.
Desired Skills & Experience
In order to be considered for this position, the successful candidate must demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Architecture, Urban Design or relevant related discipline
- A proven track record working in Architecture with career progression into Design Management
- Previous experience working on large scale mixed use projects with involvement in design management of the urban design / planning, landscaping and built structures within the development is essential
- Have experience managing the design of projects from inception to completion including managing MEP / Structural and Civil consultants
- Exposure to projects synonymous with the Middle East market – large scale hospitality and community developments
- Proven and stable track record working with international design firms and / or must have experience working on the client side
- Previous experience working in Middle East is essential. Candidates already situated within the UAE are preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills are a pre-requisite of the role.
