Position Overview
The qualified individual will be part of a team developing cross content information and analytics products. The team is responsible for enabling the core infrastructure and applications for cross content reference data, used by internal and external Reuters content clients worldwide.
Essential Responsibilities
Liaise with co-workers in sites overseas, and internal customers on requirements analysis, design, and testing.
Participating in project/work planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements.
Lead or assist in developing test plans
Design, update and automate test cases based on technical requirements.
Aiding in the preparation of status updates for projects.
Takes part in reviews of own work and the work of colleagues.
Test execution and documentation.
Test result analysis and test report creation.
Conducts user training when necessary.
Ongoing support and maintenance of system test environment.

REQUIRED Skills and Experience
- Testing:
5+ years of Testing experience.Proven experience in test plan and test cases development.
Comprehensive understanding of test methodologies and techniques (e.g. Test coverage analysis).
Solid experience in test execution and defect tracking.
Excellent analytical skills.
Proficient with defect tracking systems (e.g. Quality Center,TeamTrack)
Understanding of project test management fundamentals including: project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, issues management, test instance management.
Automation: Excellent understanding of automation concepts. Experience in using Automation tools (QTP/Selenium)
- Process: be familiar with Agile methodologies
- Technical Requirement:
C++ - Intermediate/Advanced knowledge
White box testing experience with troubleshooting skills
Database Expertise- Intermediate(SQL Server or Oracle/Ability to write/analyse Queries, Troubleshooting skills)
Experience in Scripting Languages like Perl,Python
- Others Requirement:
Must be highly motivated, well organized and able to perform well in a technically complex, global environment
Strong English verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and problem resolution skills
Strong team-working and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple priorities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, global, and dynamic environment.
