Senior Project Manager Standard Chartered Bank - China


Chairing the Project Working Committee (PWC) for ALL of these In-Scope Projects
Reviewing the project plan developed by the PM (including the completion of the initial PAR)
Managing project stakeholders
Resolving conflicts between resources contention
Support business to manage project risks, issues, dependencies, schedule and budget
Reporting status, and escalating issues to the AE and PSC
Preparing the overall project steering committee materials (ind. Project material provided by PMs)
Ensuring that appropriate change management and communication activity is undertaken

Key Roles & Responsibilities

developing and maintaining the project plan (including the completion of the initial PAR)
managing project stakeholders
directing project resources
managing project risks, issues, dependencies, schedule and budget
managing project conflicts
controlling change of the project scope, costs, benefits and schedule
reporting status, and escalating issues to the PD, AE and PSC
preparing the project steering committee materials and overall support of the AE
ensuring that appropriate change management and communication activity is undertaken
Ensuring that the project closure and handover to the CB business is completed successfully

Qualifications & Skills

–Strong working experience preferably in banking, financial or regulatory industry, in a managerial position preferably in ATM, Cards and Chip enforcement field;
–Proven track record of leading and succeeding in a key function of an organization, being responsible for its strategic direction, process and procedure development and control;
–Sound knowledge and experience in project management
–Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure;
–Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills;
–Strong report preparation and presentation skills; and
–Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
