Job Description: The largest business unit within PwC's Advisory Services, Products & Services Industries (P&SI) provides specialized business and technology consulting services to clients across several sectors by combining functional expertise with deep industry knowledge. P&SI serves public and private companies in the Automotive, Energy, Entertainment, Media, and Communications, Industrial Products, Private Equity, Retail and Consumer, Technology, and Utilities sectors. P&SI professionals also work with our clients' economic buyers (CEO, CFO, CIO, M&A Buyer, and VP of Human Resources) in any industry sector to frame and address emerging issues. As a member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory team, you will join professionals with unparalleled financial and accounting expertise, industry insight, knowledge of business processes, technology, and customer relationship skills. Through our capabilities in these areas, we sell and deliver advisory services for Corporate Performance Management (CPM) specifically related to Hyperion EPM solutions to assist our clients in translating strategy into action.

PwC works with Global 1000 companies to offer support, advice, and solutions related to key client issues, financial processes, structures, and systems. As part of the Corporate Performance Management services area, we provide the following:

• Process: Working with clients on strategic business issues in the process areas of consolidation and reporting, forecasting and planning, and over-all management information
• Selection: Facilitating an objective, fact-based process to weigh the most viable options for integrated systems (e.g. EPM) and/or best-of-breed, point solutions
• Implementation: Assessing, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Oracle EPM system components to meet business requirements
• Optimization: Assessing and redesigning processes in Oracle EPM implementations including process re-engineering

Position/Program Requirements: Knowledge Preferred:

Considerable knowledge and understanding of Hyperion based solutions. Considerable experience consulting, designing, implementing and contributing as a functional team member.

Considerable financial consulting knowledge with experience assisting clients in the implementation and support of Hyperion packaged solutions and improving financial business processes

Considerable knowledge and exposure to the common issues facing clients who provide products and services within one or more of the following sectors aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer and retail, energy, industrial products, technology or utilities. Participate in proposal development efforts.

Skills Preferred:

Considerable experience and broad subject matter expertise with Hyperion functional configuration and development with emphasis on core financial business processes including: reporting to close, budgeting and planning, financial analytics, and internal/external reporting. Considerable experience designing, implementing and supporting complex financial business processes in a Hyperion environment. Considerable experience in designing, building, testing and deploying Hyperion solutions.

Demonstrated experience identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

Demonstrated experience as a team leader: creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.
