In this key role of Supply Chain Consultant for our European Customer Operations division at our European headquarters near Amsterdam you will be responsible for driving & executing Service Model Differentiation strategy with International, National and Specialty Accounts across Europe to support Europe growth and account strategic plans. You will lead this by liaising with the Pan-European x-functional team, managing the relationship with Nike Europe, Account, Country and Category teams (Sales/Marketing) as well as Nike Europe Operations functions. You will report into the Account Development Manager and your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Planning
- Contribute to the design of a Europe 3 year Account Operations PS Strategic Plan to Drive translation of Nike Europe and Global OPS strategies into specific Europe SMD strategies to ensure alignment with senior operations management direction as well as regional/ country/ commercial direction.
- Contribute to the Europe AOPS business plan.
- Lead AOMs in countries to design and maintain a rolling 3 year Operations Strategic plan per Strategic Account, containing a Supply Chain Integration roadmap with clearly defined milestones for the capability build and roll out.
- Advise both Nike senior management and management within accounts on the recommended service and supply chain strategy for the specific accounts/categories.
Supply Chain Improvement
- Develop a thorough understanding in the AOPS team of the Nike commercial business and supply chain capabilities/ opportunities across Europe.
- Drive improvement initiatives to support the Global Operations mission to make Supply Chain an engine for growth for Nike in Europe.
- Ensure supply chain performance is constantly monitored through specific metrics by account against the agreed SLA / Service Models and drive actions to improve accordingly. Key performance indicators are: Store shelf availability, DIFOT, DSI, Supply Chain cost as a % of net revenue and Customer claims and queries
- Lead the market thru SMD implementation.
- Provide structured feed-back on customers future service requirements to the Business Development team in ELC for them to build the Logistic Development Strategy in alignment to real customer’s needs.
Project Management
- Represent AOPS in project groups of those projects related to Customer Supply Chain Capability Building
- Liaise with Center of Excellence across Operations functions to start small projects when specific process improvement are detected that require x-functional process/systems support
- Hold the accountability and support all projects undertaken by AOMs in Europe
- Represent the Supply Chain and lead its development in x-functional Programs led by any other function, especially Sales.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Master degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or Technical field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and/or Account management.
- Proven skills in managing relationships.
- Proven skills in implementing various complex supply chain related improvement projects
- Fluent in English, other language skills is a big advantage.
- Relevant experience in a supply chain role in a retail environment is a pre.
