Brand Manager - Sports

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview:
1. Build the business:
Manage the portfolio of Sports(Powerade & Aquarius) as

to deliver the company's category volume, share and profit objectives; closely
monitor changes in the marketplace so as to identify gaps and opportunities for
new revenue generating opportunities via new product concepts, or
brand/flavor/pacakge extensions on existing brands. 

2. Build the brands:
Develop comprehensive understanding of the brand's consumer base, their
attitudes and behaviors so as to formulate the appropriate integrated consumer
marketing and communication programs which will enhance brand imagery and
deliver proper change in consumer attitudes and consumption behaviors towards
each brand within the portfolio; have a strong grip of operational drivers for
the brands/category and brands performance across these drivers so as to
influence the bottler to address any issues and opportunities which is
impacting the respective brands' overall performance.

Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Planning - Develop individual brand plans which are effective in delivering the volume, profit and share objectives, as well as building brand equity measured via B3 / Nieslen.

  • Performance Management - Utilize Scorecard system to continuously measure (monthly process) and monitor brands volume performance and performance across key brand equity and operational measures.

  • Communication Development – Reapply global strategic direction and best practices, Lead agency partners to ensure strong local relevance

  • New product and Package Development - Lead in the identification and refinement of relevant new product or package propositions to be executed in the marketplace. Execute product formulation and package development work through R&D and technical.

  • Commercial integration -  work with bottlers and C&CL on a daily basis to develop the full integrated marketing programs across BTL channel and ATL media plan. Drive best in class implementation.

  • Supply chain integration -  work with technical team & bottlers to drive sustainable long term profitable growth for water

  • DME management – Effective allocation of DME and monitor the expense status.
