About the role
You will be part of the team responsible for ensuring our website is continually working and meeting the demands of our international customers. You’ll ensure that changes to the ba.com platform are appropriately tested and released in order to deliver appropriate levels of operability. You’ll also ensure that regulatory and compliance requirements are. Managing the ba.com fault portfolio, you’ll make sure that functional areas of the site operate with minimal faults.
About the day to day
- Analyse, prioritise and project manage improvements to ba.com functionality and infrastructure changes
- Liaise with technical teams in operational delivery
- Ensure that new developments are designed for easy operability from an early stage by engaging with relevant project managers
- Support and coordinate testing to ensure new developments are to an acceptable standard working with the appropriate teams across ba.com
- Support planning for ba.com to ensure legal compliance is in place and all regulatory and internal audit requirements are met
- Promote, consult, influence and communicate actively on specialist elements of ba.com and to ensure delivery of appropriate solutions
About you
- This is a Commercial rather than IT role ensuring all requirements and changes are delivered to the highest quality through our project and IT teams
- You will have excellent skills in business and problem analysis
- You can come from a team already delivering such updates and improvements or from a call centre or ticket reservation background if you have worked on or delivered projects that have sought to improve a customer-facing website
- We need someone with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
- You’ll have experience in online technologies and websites, working with internal teams and external agencies to construct and execute a comprehensive test plan
- Operational experience of Amadeus reservation is a nice to have but not essential
