Shopper Marketing Manager

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview:
To deliver against the change agenda in Shopper Marketing, maximising our impact at the point of purchase through executing against key Shopper Occasions and developing Legacy solutions collaboratively with our customers.

BUSINESS IMPACT: This role will have the following business impact:


  • Working more collaboratively with customers on Occasion based Shopper Solutions.

  • Delivery of Occasion based Legacy Solutions in market.

  • Delivery of Shopper Solutions expertise  and Insights to customers

Business Planning

Deliver against Strategic Plans around Shopper Solutions function  to ensure the effective execution of Legacy initiatives:

  • Support the development of a Legacy innovation pipeline for the system based on consumer/shopper insights and customer plans

  • Lead the Occasion based solutions agenda with customers

Relationship Management:


  • Build and maintain relationships with the Channel, Category, Insights and Customer teams to mobilise system engagement around Shopper Solutions and key initiatives

  • Build and maintain relationships with Customers, align Business Plans and work collaboratively on bringing Occasion based Shopper  Solutions to market

  • Effectively manage external Partners to deliver against business objectives

Execution:


  • Identify Growth opportunities through Consumer, Shopper and Customer Insights and effectively translate those insights into Legacy plans.

  • Conduct Shopper Studies

Key Responsibilities Of This Role

This role must deliver several key outcomes:


  •  Build and maintain relationships with customers, work on aligning customer plans with business objectives and work collaboratively with customers on delivering occasion based Shopper solutions to ANZ market.

  • Manage the Legacy pilot and scale plan effectively:


    • Ensure End to end process is built including Shopper Impact Tracking of pilots.

    • Build effective processes around Pilot and Scale model 

  • Provide input into a Legacy innovation pipeline for the system based on consumer, shopper and customer insights. 

  • Liaise closely with the Channel, Category, Insights and Customer Teams to represent Shopper Marketing principles in customer/channel executions and ensure the delivery of excellent Occasion based Shopper Solutions into market.

  • Importing/exporting great ideas – leveraging overseas network and ensuring best practice is captured and reapplied rapidly

  • Ensure Australia is connected to the coke world in terms of Shopper Marketing best practice

  • Deliver against Strategic initiatives and supporting business cases to support the delivery of efficient and effective Shopper Marketing Solutions

  • Build Strategic Shopper Solutions plans and execute against them.

  • Build an end-to-end process around the Pilot and Scale model to enable efficient delivery of Shopper Solutions into market.

  • Project Management (eg accountable for forming cross system and external project teams that are focused on delivering all key projects on time and in full

Qualifications:

Degree Qualified ( Marketing/Commercial/Technical)

Experience:


  • 5 + Years in FMCG environment in Merchandising/Channel/Shopper roles desirable

  • Ability to translate strategy into execution

  • Vendor Account Management

  • Able to make the link between brand strategies – customer/retail activation and shopper behaviour
