Position Overview:
Cost of goods and services (COGS) Planning & Financial Services Manager is responsible for providing financial supports for manufacturing functions, mainly Procurement.
The primary responsibilities include:
1) monitoring the spending and cost savings status vs. plan
2) developing annual business plan (BP) and monthly rolling estimates (RE) for raw material purchases by using access-based data base
3) providing financial analysis to help mainly procurement team/finance management identify cost saving opportunities.
After successful establishment of above routines with Procurement and upon demonstration of high potential and performance, there is a possible responsibility expansion with directly reporting to financial planning director in next 12-18 months.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
● Work with procurement traders to develop monthly rolling estimate (RE) / annual Business Plan (BP) by using a new database to accurately estimate spending and cost savings, reflecting the latest market trend and strategies. (65%)
● Monitor procurement spending to check progress of cost saving activities vs. Plan and make recommendations (take actions) to course correct.
● Provide analysis to procurement team and finance managers to identify cost saving opportunity.
● Develop management reports to grasp overall key activities and to seek directions from the management.
● Work as a liaison between Atlanta HQ/Group/Coca-Cola Japan management and Procurement to ensure expectations are clearly understood and timely delivered (20%)
● Support other COGS functions (logistics and demand planning) to develop BP spending and to prepare ad hoc financial analysis (10%)
● Ensure that SOX narratives are kept intact and appropriate internal control is in place. (5%)

Experience, Skills and Qualifications Required:
● 4-7 years of experience in the area of finance or accounting
● Database (Access, Oracle etc) skill
● Excel and PowerPoint skill
