The 'Know Me' programme is about making better use of customer data to personalise communications and offerings to our customers in the areas of targeted selling, personal recognition and service recovery.
The modelling team as part of the Know Me Lab is looking at how we can use analytics and data mining techniques to make marketing campaigns more relevant, based on a customer's travel, booking and BA website looking history. For the Senior Insight Analyst role we are looking for someone with strong existing SAS and SQL skills, an understanding of statistical principles and scientific method and some experience of building segmentation or propensity models, preferably with some experience of campaign analysis.

About the day to day
- A champion for analytical best practice, you’ll confidently share recommendations with key stakeholders in the business. In fact, you’ll make sure that your entire portfolio is delivered to the highest standard, even when meeting the most challenging deadlines
- Responsible for the development, build and implementation of customer-centric analysis and insights to drive business decision-making, customer strategy development, customer targeting and communication effectiveness
- Manages your own portfolio of work using good project and time-management practice
- Mentors and coaches insight analysts
- Acts as the conscience of the business, challenging and impacting decision making
About you
- You’re in a similar role in a complex data environment at the moment, but probably not on this scale or within the airline industry
- What’s certain is that your numerical aptitude and track record are equally impressive. This includes a thought provoking list of analytical queries derived from business questions, customer insights and train of thought analysis
- It’s important that your business acumen makes the most of your impressive communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience of complex campaign / communication design, including customer sampling and testing strategies along with measurement of communications effectiveness in a multi-channel environment
