We are looking for a North-North Networking Officer to be based at the EDCTP office in The Hague, the Netherlands, to assist the North-North Networking Manager in the co-ordination of activities aimed at promoting further integration and alignment of participating member states’ joint activities and investments in clinical research on poverty-related diseases in developing countries and closer collaboration with third parties.

- Liaise with EDCTP participating member states and other European Union (EU) Member States to collect data on national research programmes relevant to EDCTP
- Summarise technical and financial data on Member State national research programmes for management and stakeholder reports
- Coordinate and support the timely delivery of mapping reports to the European Commission and other relevant EDCTP Stakeholders
- Actively participate in the monitoring and evaluating activities of EDCTP programmes; both the current EDCTP programme, EDCTP1; and the next programme, EDCTP2
- Engage EU partner countries and other stakeholders, including third parties, to enhance research synergy and foster collaboration in research in preparation for EDCTP2
- Take minutes at networking and other meetings
- Assist in any other tasks assigned by the North-North Networking Manager or Director of North-North Cooperation.

Education
Master’s degree in health policy or in a relevant field such as public health.

Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Networking/Project officer
- Experience of working with national and international research agencies, including working in collaborative projects in Europe and with the European Commission, would be an advantage
- Project management.

- Ability to summarise succinctly information from multiple sources to produce reports for management and other relevant stakeholders
