- Opportunity to work with upcoming voice and accountability projects
GRM international is seeking expressions of interest from qualified senior governance experts for upcoming projects in voice and accountability in South Asia.
We are seeking candidates that can demonstrate strong contextual knowledge of South Asian governance issues, and have technical expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Strong track record in governance programmes focusing on voice and accountability, policy influencing and policy dialogue on governance issues
- Experience in civil society capacity building and coalition building
- Experience in engaging with non-traditional actors (such as media and private sector) in governance activities
- Prior Team Leader experience in managing large donor-funded programmes
- Prior experience in managing programmes with grant-giving components
- Prior DFID experience is a strong asset
- Strong experience in cooperating and collaborating with government entities on policy issues, particularly line ministries, parliaments and local government
- Health and education sector knowledge/experience an asset
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation of governance programmes
- Experience in working in the South Asia region
