Development Officer - Idaho; This is a full time position based in Boise, ID
Under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Development, manages affiliate-wide fundraising programs in patient giving, employee giving, and work place giving, while also developing and implementing cultivation and solicitation plans for major individual donors and prospects in Idaho.
Essential Functions:
Provides leadership in the development and implementation of patient, employee, and work place giving campaigns; cultivates and solicits donors in a personal portfolio; strategically grows that portfolio; plans and implements fundraising events in Idaho and sometimes supports events out of state; contributes to the team effort of the agency, thereby ensuring quality care and services for clients.

Major Responsibilities:
• Develops and manages PPGNW patient giving program: prepares campaign materials, collaborates with Area Services Directors and Clinic Managers to develop patient messages and patient educational materials, as well as conduct ask trainings for health center staff; tracks ongoing feedback and outcomes
• Develops and manages PPGNW employee giving campaign: prepares campaign strategy; develops staff educational and communication information (to include new staff orientation component);
tracks monthly and quarterly outcomes
• Organizes and manages PPGNW work place giving program: serves as principle representative and agency liaison at PPGNW; tracks all work place giving campaigns and ensures timely submission of applications for the region; collaborates with the Development team as needed and necessary to assure staff delegation at tabling or presentation opportunities
• Researches new work place giving opportunities for PPGNW within Idaho, Alaska, and Washington
• Conducts regular cost/benefit analysis and balances streamlining of costs of programs with meeting goals
• Helps identify potential supporters and cultivates relationships with current key supporters in the region, starting first with a designated portfolio of existing major donors and working to grow that portfolio through networking and research
• Serves as primary staff liaison of Idaho Board of Advocates: helps each member develop and implement their individual plan for fundraising and advocating for PPGNW; organizes occasional in-person meetings of the Idaho B of A; staffs quarterly webinars; helps identify and recruit new B of A members
• Identifies and assists in the cultivation of private and family foundations in Idaho, and works to establish networks to support the outreach and fundraising efforts of PPGNW
• Coordinates and organizes special stewardship lunches and events: develops and distributes announcements and invitations; coordinates logistics; provides day-of staff support
