Basel II Implementation Manager (Shanghai)

To assist senior manager/director for managing the successful implementation of Basel II and III in China in line with Group standards and “New Capital Accord” guidelines issued by local regulators in China, which are multi- disciplined and cover Wholesale Bank, Consumer Bank and Trading Book in China. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities 

Manage sub-projects, such as model validation, quantitative impact study,stress testings and system enhancement across all phases of the implementation life cycle, and ensure appropriate country governance structure in place for the implementation. 

Provide detailed guidance to risk and finance teams to facilitate the self assessment tests based on CBRC Basel requirements. Organize and standardize the related materials/documents for final accreditation application. 

Work with internal auditors to fulfil appropriate level auditing requirements from CBRC. 

Assist to coordinate the monthly Basel Project Working Group meeting.

Assist to conduct training and education programmes to raise awareness and working knowledge in Basel II in the country. 

Qualifications & Skills 

•Solid risk management and Basel II&III knowledge 
•Advanced Basel IRB model knowledge
•China Banking regulatory environment experience 
•Data processing and management experience
•Solid knowledge on credit risk system
