Finance Project Management (Shanghai)


Job Description

•To ensure all system projects within Finance department in China are implemented and executed in accordance to Group and local project guidelines
•To identify and mitigate risks that would impact the overall projects failure and success;
•To ensure that any implementation/post-implementation issues are resolved properly and timely;
•To manage project effectively with good technical understanding and compliance with accounting policies and Financial Control Policies
•To ensure all issues/deficiencies found in the project were resolved timely and properly. 
•highlight risks and report abnomally/deviation 

Key Roles & Responsibilities 

•Represents Finance and assist the Senior Project manager on overall management of projects impact Finance
• As coordinator between Finance and project teams (both in-country & Group)
• Develop project plans and engage stakeholders appropraitely
• Ensure all Finance teams participation whenever appropriate
• Coordinates and communicates with business/user requirements between business team and project team 
• Monitors the project implementation schedule, ensure milestones are timely met, porgress and control/mitigate project risks
• Involves in process streamlining and innovation of workflow/procedures 

Qualifications & Skills 

•Good project management skills
• Results oriented and strong will to win
• Good strategic perspective and change oriented
• Knowledge and experience in the Banks financial reporting practices and principles.
• Solid knowledge of current UK and local accounting standards, financial/management principles and techniques.
• Good knowledge of the G/L and other subsystems used within the Bank.
• Solid knowledge of local banking regulations and reporting requirements
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Control oriented
• Customer focused
