Underground Trackless Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Description :	Our client, a copper mining company, based in Zambia would like to appoint an Underground Trackless Equipment Maintenance Specialist at their operations. The company is one of the major copper producing companies in Zambia. 3-Year Contract, extendable for further periods if you have performed well during the initial contract. Also a residential position as opposed to a fly-in-fly-out position. The company will offer a competitive package based on the qualifications and experience an individual can bring to the table.
Qualifications :	ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • A recognised Trade/diploma/degree in the maintenance of underground trackless mobile equipment. • Excellent knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical trouble shooting • Must be able to assume full responsibility for the maintenance and availability of the loaders and drills in their sections • Minimum 7-10 years experience in the mining industry. • The ability to take personal responsibility for the condition of the machines in their sections. They will have artisan technicians working for them, so must be sufficiently experienced to give direction and training. • Need good computer skills - not only PC’s, but also be able to deal with the on board diagnostic systems. • Fit and healthy and be able to qualify to work underground • Good English speaking and writing skills • Good interpersonal skills
