BBC News Group is in a period of significant change as it evolves to meet future audience needs, uses new technology and new buildings, makes the most of the integration of the Group and delivers its savings plans.  A small team works to the Head of Change Delivery, News Group, and we are now recruiting for attachments to this team.

Role

The programme manager is responsible for keeping all our change projects (including Joined-up Journalism and Integrated International Bureaux) across News Group on track, ensuring they are progressing their objectives and savings targets.  You will report into the Change Overview Group weekly, providing an overview of progress, risks and issues. You will need to ensure each project is designed and developed to achieve success. For governance purposes you will also prepare progress reports for the Corporate Centre.

You will need excellent stakeholder management and budgeting skills.
