Electrical Plant Technician (SX amd EW Plant machinery)

Description :	Contract (renewable) fly-in-fly-out position in the mining sector in the south of Democratic Republic of the Congo (safe area). Single status position with a six day working week. Reports to: Maintenance Manager Salary US%110,000 p.a. tax free plus benefits. KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: • Strong engineering maintenance experience in above mentioned areas with a strong focus to prevent downtime.• Be in possession of Electrical/Instrumentation Technician certificate from an approved facility.• Computer literate in MS Office. OTHER ESSENTIAL ITEMS: • Good leadership skills as well as the ability to teach national staff.• Engineering Project execution skills will be advantageous. • Good communication skills and the ability to interface with Senior and Lower management across all disciplines and departments. • Fit and healthy and prepared to work extensive hours when requiered.• English/French Speaking
Qualifications :	REQUIREMENTS: • Qualified Electrical Technician with Technical knowledge and Experience in performing maintenance for all Electrical equipment on: SX and EW plant and machinery, Rectifiers, Compressors, VSD’s, Electrical Reticulation (HT and LT), Compressors. • Adherence to Engineering specifications and standards to assist with the proper application of specifications and standards to ensure that equipment meets requirements in terms of availability, quality and maintainability. • Knowledge of SANS 10142
