Risk Manager (Shanghai)


Lead the key regulations implementation to achieve the effective control module on regulatory requirements in GTO, work closely with GTO functions to ensure the new requirements or changes are implemented and/or tracked properly, assist in building up the OR governance model in GTO.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the key regulation implementation in GTO and change roll-out (new regulation or changed regulation) to achieve the effective control module including
a.Analyze the gap
b.Evaluate the added control point
c.Dig out the possibility of system enhancement
d.Indicate impacting client segment, business lines and products
e.Establish the trackable record for future monitoring
f.Highlight to manage new regulations’ major impacts
g.Engage UORM for DOI and others sign-off
h.Engage compliance or other related parties involvement to address Ops concern

Qualifications & Skills

1. 10 years’ relevant banking experience and good understanding on banking industrys regulatory environment, experiences in operations, audit, compliance or risk management is preferred.
2. A clear understanding of the Bank’s approach to the management of operational risk
3. The sound judgment and courage necessary to perform a control role and maintain effective working relationships.
