BBC News Group is in a period of significant change as it evolves to meet future audience needs, uses new technology and new buildings, makes the most of the integration of the Group and delivers its savings plans.  A small team works to the Head of Change Delivery, News Group, and we are now recruiting for attachments to this team.

Role

The project managers will be responsible for designing, delivering and supporting a significant number of projects across News Group. You’ll be involved both in editorial and process change and the level of project management skill required will vary depending on the size and complexity of the project and the range of duties required to be carried out. 
 
As the project manager, you’ll work closely with senior editors and leaders across NewsGroup ensuring that we work to improve our journalism and increase our cross-platform impact.

Requirements

The successful candidates will have considerable experience in shaping and delivering large, complex projects within the BBC as well as experience as an editorial decision-maker and a strong journalistic background is preferred.  They will understand the implications of change, have the ability to analyse options and be able to present these for decision making.   Stakeholder management experience at all levels and detailed experience and knowledge of the output of the News Group is essential.
