The Transparency International Secretariat (TI-S) is recruiting a Programme Coordinator to coordinate parts of the Public Sector Integrity Programme. The job will focus on guiding the work of country-level CSOs (mainly TI National Chapters) in applying a range of diagnostic anti-corruption tools (in particular National Integrity Systems Assessments (NIS)) and accountability mechanisms for holding government and the public sector to account, and working with government on specific solutions for strengthening public sector integrity.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the implementation of relevant integrity diagnostic and engagement tools with particular focus on National Integrity Systems Assessments (NIS) and other Public Sector Integrity tools, solutions and accountability mechanisms by TI National Chapters; • Conduct training workshops on respective tools and approaches and provide on-going technical assistance, guidance and quality control of reports and publications to researchers and National TI Chapters during the implementation; • Coordinate the strategic and methodological review and evaluation of existing tools as well as the development of new tools and solutions in identified areas of public integrity; • Gather, analyse, map and coordinate the adaptation and piloting of promising and scalable tools, solutions and accountability/monitoring tools to support TI National Chapters in their work to strengthen public sector integrity; • Analyse cross-country results and Lessons Learned from the implementation of these tools and codify case studies and international good practices; • Help establish and maintain a network of experts and relevant institutions in the field of public integrity and help disseminate Key Programme outputs; • Assist with the sharing of knowledge on public integrity issues across the movement and to engage the movement effectively on the implementation of the programme; • Support programme fundraising, including drafting of funding proposals, ensuring that all donor contractual obligations are met in a professional, transparent and timely manner; • Deliver any other tasks identified by the line manager necessary to ensure that projects under the Public Sector Integrity Programme are implemented successfully.
Knowledge, experience and skills:
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in political science, public administration, international or development economics, law, sociology or a related social science discipline • Minimum of five years’ work experience, with a focus on international project coordination, preferably in the field of governance and anti-corruption • Sound knowledge of tools, research methods and policy issues in the good governance and anti-corruption field • Experience in training/capacity-building a distinct advantage • Field-experience in a developing country, working on governance issues, would be a strong advantage • Experience and understanding in one or more of the following areas an added value: political corruption, procurement, judiciary, local governance • Track record in fundraising an advantage • Excellent writing and editing skills • Strong networking, communication and interpersonal skills • Fluency in English (written, spoken) with additional international languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian) an advantage • Working knowledge of MS Office, online communications and related applications, including Excel.
