The School of Economics at the University of Cape Town is the top ranked economics department, both in South Africa, as well as Africa. Its PhD programme is in a strong growth phase and is particularly drawing students from the economically growing African continent and other emerging regions.
The School is seeking to make an appointment at the level of Associate Professor in macroeconomics, broadly construed.
Requirements:
- A PhD or equivalent degree in Economics
- A strong research profile
- Teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Postgraduate supervision experience.
