The European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA) a.i.s.b.l. www.esahq.org active in the field of continuous medical education and promotion of research, is looking for an experienced Communication, PR & Marketing Coordinator.
Key responsibilities
- Defines and implements a complete communication, PR and marketing strategy for the association;
- Promotes all the activities of the association (membership, congresses, examinations, research, etc.) by disseminating information via press releases, newsletter, brochures, website, emails, etc.;
- Assists in the design of our online and offline publications and promotional materials from concept to printed product;
- Develops an online and social media strategy;
- Initiates, develops and monitors activities aimed at strengthening the ESA brand and maximises PR opportunities;
- Writing, editing and/or proofreading articles;
- Supports in setting-up a new website and keep it up to date;
- Assists with content development for new website, including writing/editing;
- Undertakes special projects and assignments as needed.
Profile
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an similar role (ideally in an international association);
- Native English speaker (or equivalent by experience); one other major European language is an asset;
- Degree in marketing, communication or related field;
- Accurate with an eye for detail;
- Team player with excellent organisational skills;
- Able to respect deadlines;
- Experience of professional communication on social media;
- Excellent computer skills – Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Experience in graphic design would be an asset);
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills for building contacts with Committee members, media and other staff members.
