Education Account Executive UCAS

Location:  Cheltenham
Centre of Excellence:  Education Sales/Commercial Department              
Contract:  Full Time, Permanent
Salary:  £14,100 To £17,340 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Role Overview: UCAS’ Commercial Department (UCAS Media LTD) generate income to support the work of UCAS, the world’s largest admissions service for higher education.  Each year UCAS processes applications from over 600,000 applicants seeking places on courses at over 400 UK universities and colleges.

We are now seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Education Account Executive who will make a defined contribution within the UCAS Media Education Team and who will be responsible for the ensuring sales enquiries are responded to quickly, supporting workload of account managers, as we all delivering against set financial targets.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be aware of the value of client account management. You will be a team player with a can do attitude and the ability to prioritise workload with conflicting deadlines. The UCAS Media Education Team is busy, often hectic environment and you will need to be enthusiastic, without a ‘9 -5’ mentality.

Responsibilities:

• The post holder will be responsible for delivering revenue from affiliate and non-member accounts against set targets
• Responsible for ensuring Education Account Managers can deliver revenue against set targets
• To manage initial inbound sales enquiries to education group email inbox and phone calls.
• To maintain sales database by updating contact records.
• To make outbound calls to generate leads.
• To support Education Account Managers by helping with data counts, proposal writing, general admin or other tasks where necessary.

 Minimum Criteria:

• Computer literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
• Experience of CRM systems
• Degree educated or equivalent
• A minimum of one year’s target-focused sales experience
