Environment and Energy Section, Estate Management
 
The University of Cambridge is committed to reducing its carbon emissions and improving its overall environmental performance. It is creating a new Environment and Energy Section within its Estate Management Division to lead the work in this area and there are a number of exciting new opportunities to lead and/or be a part of this. The new section, which brings together functions that were previously spread across the University, will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the University and developing and implementing long-term plans to improve the University’s performance across a wide range of areas of sustainability, including carbon emissions, energy use, waste, travel, water, biodiversity, sustainable construction and sustainable procurement. Working alongside existing members of the Estates Team, this is a great opportunity to shape the environmental policy and performance of a world class institution.  

We are looking for experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic individuals to fill the following key vacancies within the team: 
 
•    Head of Environment and Energy - £50,186 - £53,233 p.a. (closing date 22nd February 2013)
•    Carbon Reduction Manager - £37,382 - £47,314 p.a. (closing date 1st March 2013)
•    Building Energy Manager - £37,382 - £47,314 p.a.  (closing date 1st March 2013)
•    Administrator  - £20,764 - £24,049 p.a.  (closing date 1st March 2013)
