Enrolment Manager, Glion Institute of Higher Education (London)


Reports to: Director General, Glion Institute of Higher Education (London) plus a "dotted line" report to Regional Admissions Director (RAD), Laureate Northern Europe
Location: London, UK
Appointment: Full-time; hours of work as necessary to fulfill duties and responsibilities; 6 month probationary period

Purpose
The Enrolment Manager of Glion London is responsible for initially developing the domestic Post-Undergraduate (PG) market for the school in the UK. The role involves carrying out promotional activities in the market as well as counselling and nurturing leads through to enrolment. The Enrolment Manager is fully responsible for maximising the recruitment of PG students in the UK (at all times respecting GIHE London's admissions criteria and policies, and the reputation of the GIHE London). Working closely with the Director General and the RAD Northern Europe, the Enrolment Manager is responsible for developing GIHE London's PG recruitment strategy and for presenting a detailed field marketing plan, in accordance with the GIHE London project's agreed targets and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development
  • Develop a three-year strategic plan for PG recruitment in the domestic UK market
  • Maximize recruitment from the market and to meet all targets
  • Develop a marketing plan for the region with agreement from the Director General and RAD Northern Europe, to be reviewed twice a year
  • Execute marketing activities that support the development of the market and build strong relationships between GIHE London and educators and the hospitality industry
  • Develop relationships with appropriate educational authorities to ensure smooth operations within the market
  • Follow up on and investigate market trends/new promotional activities in order to maintain our lead position in the field.
Administration / Coordination
  • Ensure that all potential students meet admissions criteria
  • Communicate well with students, parents, GIHE London and Laureate management regarding needs, issues and successes
  • Manage all advertising and promotion expenses according to budget
  • Attend International Marketing Workshop as requested
  • Oversee students through the entire admissions process, ensuring timely and accurate answers to questions, including those relating to fees and payments
  • Provide timely reporting and invoicing of all expenses (according to Travel & Expense Policy).
  • Other duties as agreed by the Director General, GIHE (London) &/or the RAD Laureate Northern Europe.
Education and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor Degree is essential. A Masters' Degree is a strong preference (ideally in Business, Management, Sales and/or Marketing).
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' proven track record in successfully leading sales deliverables
  • Successful experience working within complex international and competitive environment, preferably in Education or hospitality management
  • Track record in achieving and surpassing sales targets
  • Marketing experience
