Jr. Manager Business Development Tommy Hilfiger - Amsterdam Area, Netherlands


The European business development department supports the management team of Tommy Hilfiger Europe (CEO, COO etc) with various strategic projects, strategic planning, and business development. The department works cross-divisional with all back-office functions (finance, logistics etc.), the management teams of the product divisions (menswear, womenswear etc.), the European country organizations (Germany, Italy, Spain etc.) and the central retail team. 
• Planning, execution and controlling of different strategic projects
• Independent setting-up and execution of entire project streams within larger projects
• Development of concepts and alternative actions 
• Analytical modeling and performance analysis
• Conceptual preparation of strategy workshops
• Support preparation of top management meetings
• Contact person to the entire organization for project related tasks and various strategic  questions
• Cooperation with external partners 

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent university degree from a leading business school / university
• Minimum of two years work experience in strategy consultancy or an equivalent position in a fashion, retail or consumer goods environment
• Experience in project management  
• Very strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Superior MS-Office (especially excel and power point) skills
• Very good English skills and pleasure to work in multi-cultural & multi-lingual environment
• Good influencing skills and the ability to communicate thoughts clearly and with ease verbally and written
• Ability to deal with new and complex topics
• Ability to work independently
• Goal oriented and structured
• Ambitious, highly motivated and able to perform in a hectic work environment
• Strong team player, excellent social skills
• High standard of ethics, integrity and confidentiality
