Logistics Inbound Coordinator Tommy Hilfiger - Amsterdam Area, Netherlands


The TH TAILORED BUYING’s department main responsibility is to secure seasonal and non-seasonal buying of fabrics, trims and garments (cmt and fob), including the inbound of the ready goods.
After production orders are placed the inbound is chased from source thru the forwarder to the warehouse and then out to the customer. Throughout this process all systems (DTS, SAP) need to be updated with the correct information.
The jobholder reports to the Senior Buying Manager TH TAILORED
and is responsible of the traffic of goods from our worldwide production facilities to our European warehouse ensuring the reception and further delivery of the product on time.
The key objective is to reach a maximum result on the inbound per season, measured by timely & correct deliveries.
Main responsibilities of the position:
1. Monitor and control the inbound planning
2. Work closely with buying team and vendor base to control the status and changes on delivery dates (ETD) for bulk orders.
3. Track & Trace of inbound shipments sea freight, air freight and truck
4. Coordinate and ensure that all the systems are updated and matching as per our information (Excel, SAP, etc.)
5. Monitor the ‘in time’ delivery to our worldwide customers
6. Pro-actively look for improved ways of working and be involved in related projects
7. If required perform other activities to support the buying team.

Desired Skills & Experience

 Work experience in a Fashion Production/Buying or Logistic department preferable
 PC skills: -Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Especially Excel;
-Experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
 Strong administrative skills.
 Accurate in her / his work
 Good communication skills, both verbal and written
 Fluency in English
