Our client is a worldwide leader in the heavy machinery industry. You will be their Program Manager and will be responsible for providing leadership to projects in Singapore, including design and construction of a facility and deployment of information systems in new and existing facilities. This position will see you leading and directing the activities of a cross-functional project team. You will also be responsible for engaging with external building construction project management firms and main contractor responsible for design and construction. You will be required to develop and implement plans that achieve the best utilisation of company assets and maintain focus on cost control, so that the financial projections used to achieve the funding for the project are achieved.

- Engineering Degree, Civil Engineering preferred

Responsibilities:
- Managing communication and coordination of project activities across multiple business units
- Communicating project plans to ensure that all impacted stakeholders are involved or aware of major decisions
- Selecting, managing and developing appropriate project staff that have not experienced a project of this size and magnitude
- Managing a cross-functional project team of primarily management/professional employees where some review of subordinate work is required as well as training, developing and mentoring
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management
- Deep experience in warehouse planning and operations, information systems, transportation management, and or inventory strategy development will be a significant advantage
- Exceptional analytical and diagnosis skills, to confront complex project issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Travel required, equates to 10% - 20% of working time
- A formal project management qualification or certification will be highly advantageous
