Secretary, Commodity Sales Standard Chartered Bank - Singapore


Secretarial Support to Global Head of Commodity Sales / Global Head of Energy and Agricultural Sales as well as their team.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Produce work in a timely, complete and accurate manner.
- Organise travel itineraries.
- Making payment for invoices
- Exercise judgement and prioritize meetings.
- Understanding of SCB systems – Travel & Expense, eProcurement, RMS, Peoplesoft, Sharepoint
- Preparation of Travel & Expense (“T&E”) claims
- Effective follow through of deliverables ensuring deadlines are not missed.
- Manage workload effectively.
- Provide all other secretarial duties including the maintainence of good filing system to enable quick retrieval of materials
- Assist in all administrative duties like telephone list / org chart / floor plan / leave record / claims / courier etc.

Qualifications & Skills

- Comfortable dealing with management across different countries and cultures.
- A self-starter with a hands-on style and able to operate with minimal guidance.
- Responsive and able to pay meticulous attention to detail
- Good PC skills particularly with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
- Good communication skills with strong command of English.
- Reliable, discreet and diplomatic.
- A flexible approach to work and able to work overtime as required.
- A team player who demonstrates good interpersonal skills with ability to prioritize workload and manage conflicting priorities.
- Self-motivation, confident, enthusiasm and practical application.
- Able to multi-task and manage numerous deliverables effectively.
- Experience in Dealing Room will be an advantage.
