The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) is seeking a consultant to provide support for a current media project aimed at supporting the 2014 democratic political transition process in Afghanistan. More specifically, USIP will assist with Afghan-led, media-based dialogues about local concerns regarding the political transition, democratization, and the peaceful resolution of political disputes. For more information about the consultancy and the project itself, please refer to the attached scope of work.

The United States Institute of Peace is an independent, nonpartisan federal institution created and funded by the U.S. Congress. Established in 1984, the Institute meets its Congressional mandate through an array of programs, including grants, fellowships, conferences and workshops, library services, publications, and other educational activities.
