Job Description – This is a challenging but exciting new position within the organisations newly created “Water Services" initiative. You will be responsible for the evaluation and assessment of water technologies on a global scale. This will range from water and waste water treatment technologies and processes in industry and municipalities, to water management systems, and data driven water solutions. In addition, he/she will strongly help identifying and execution of new business opportunities, and will support the overall business development process. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Review and audit existing water solutions in industry and municipalities.
- Evaluate and assess water treatment technologies and processes, water management and data driven solutions (Smart Water).
- Develop proposals for cost-effective and efficient solutions for new or existing infrastructure.
- Define, acquire, and manage projects.
- Analysis of complex systems.
- Contribute and support Business Development by identifying business opportunities (new customers, new solutions, new business models).
- Support international build-up of project and sales teams.
Candidate Requirements –
- Master Degree in Process Engineering but Ph.D. is preferred.
- Should come from a 70% technical and 30% business development (commercial) background with at least 5-7 years of professional experience in water industry.
- Good understanding of water and wastewater processes.
- Previous experience within a consulting/consultancy environment.
- Proven track record of project acquisition and management with a strong customer focus.
- Automation and Control of water solutions.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to identify improvement potentials of complex technical processes and technologies.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of global water market.
- Work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Water technologies in one or more of the following areas: Treatment, Desalination, Management.
- Automation and Control of water solutions.
- Project management methods.
- Fluent in English language.
