The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has a great opportunity for a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager within the Facilities Management Operations unit. This unit is responsible for projects within the existing assets of the University, and supports the major building program currently underway on the City Campus.
The successful applicant would provide a high level of project management and administrative support to a Senior Project Manager on a number of highly technical major maintenance projects. One of these projects includes the multi-million dollar upgrading of the University’s Central Mechanical Plant.
Applicants should review the Position Description and demonstrate in their CV or Cover Letter to the following Skills and experience:
1) Demonstrated experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction sector
2) Tertiary qualification in a related field
3) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills –stakeholder involvement is critical at UTS and therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
This would be a great opportunity for someone who is enrolled in a project management course and wishing to gain additional hands-on experience in the role.
Salary: $74,762 – 82,704 + Superannuation
