The Opportunity

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will undertake research in the School of Chemistry under the guidance of Professor Doug MacFarlane. The research involves the development of electrochemistry in protic ionic liquids and applications of these materials in various electrochemical processes. The studies will include development of devices to tackle significant environmental challenges including solar fuel production and carbon dioxide reduction.
You will have extensive experience in the electrochemistry of ionic liquids. A PhD in a relevant discipline is required.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
