Job Description
1.To process Trade related applications/documents within laid down procedures and to meet service standards (wherever applicable).2.To investigate records/files in order to establish or clarify facts required to progress queries raised internally and externally.
3.To undertake specialised technical duties related to Trade Services
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1.Process Trade Services transactions strictly as per Department Operating Instructions / Trade Policy / PPGs and other internal policies of the Bank (wherever applicable).
2.Liaise with Customer Service Centre and resolve queries/problems of Customers in a cordial manner.
3.Maintain and update all records related to Trade Services/ document Preparation services
4.Deliver products within the set time frame and as per SLA.
5.Conduct investigation to rectify errors or to establish/clarify facts.
6.Prepare/collect information/statistical data for internal and external relationship.
7.Deal with customers/counterparts in other banks to respond to routine queries or problems.
8.Correspond with customers and other internal/external contacts on matters of routine nature.
9.Identify risks in day to day operations and bring it to the attention of the management.
10.Ensure that all charges are recovered while processing transactions.
11.Provide technical guidance to customers when needed.
12.Participate actively in the Outserve processes, to ensure that the transactions are delivered error free and to customers’ satisfaction.
13.Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures to the extent applicable and Reporting all suspicious Transactions to the Line Manager
14.Process transactions and all related activities for Document Preparation Services
15.Consolidate documents and pre-prepare for scanning to SSC after ensuring all procedures are followed
16.Sign documents viz covering letter / LC’s wherever applicable
Qualifications & Skills
•Trade Services general operational knowledge
•University degree.
•Thorough understanding of ICC rules, local laws, legal risks
•Knowledge of Trade documentation and shipping terms.
•Knowledge of the Bank’s laid down procedures.
•PC skills and excellent typing speed.
