Sales Officer Standard Chartered Bank - India

Department:Employee Banking
Grade:Band 9
Reports To:Manager;
Location: bangalore 

The position is responsible for facilitating picking up and sourcing Employee Banking savings accounts across defined Corporate, PSUs, Central Govt and large MNC segments. 
The job requires approaching Corporate in the assigned city in order to achieve the requisite goals and also cross- selling and referring the asset products of the Bank. The key products for which the sales have to be managed are as follows:

•Corporate Salary Accounts – Savings
•Cross sell / refer – Life Insurance
•Cross Sell/ refer – Asset Products ( Cards/ Mort/ PL) 

Key Roles & Responsibilities 

Business Drivers 

Assist in documentation of forms and follow up through out the on boarding process till the final set up.
To rectify and relog rejects, if any, within the agreed time frame to ensure TAT and SLA is met.
To minimize rejects, permissible minimum is 1. To strive for Zero Rejects
Actively reducing TAT and Sales Error.


Customer Experience 
Operational quality - Errors free customer application & documentation 
Minimise Reworks

Risk Assurance
Conduct CDD, MLP & TCF diligently 
Zero tolerance – Fraud, Mis-selling
Attend training, acquire knowledge and apply to job function 
Adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures, comply with local regulatory requirements
To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager 

Qualifications & Skills 

Age Limit between 22 to 35 years only. 
Must be a graduate.
Sales/ Service experience of 2 years in the banking, financial service, media, telecom and Hospitality industry. Should have good understanding of service, processes and Relationship management.
Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
Strong inter-personal skills, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
